SHIPPING & PROCESSING

We do our best to process and ship in stock items within 24 hours of receiving your order, however please allow up to 5 business days for your order to process before receiving a shipping confirmation.

UPS is our carrier of choice, and your shipping rates are calculated based on destination and weight of the item. Transit times are estimated at checkout.

Please note that transit times do not include 1-5 business days for processing. If you need your order in a hurry, please email sales@sylvesterandco.com after you place your order with the details.

Special Order Products: Please be aware of lead times that may be noted on special order products such as rugs, mats and furniture. These wait times will vary based on your item, and may change or be extended beyond the original estimate. Orders for items with a noted lead time cannot be cancelled once placed. RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS WITH A NOTED LEAD TIME.

Oversized Items: For oversized furniture such as sofas, tables etc., we may reach out following your order to arrange shipping or delivery separately. You will not incur any additional shipping or delivery fees unless you request a service upgrade or change following your order being placed, or if it is noted on the product page on our website.

LOCAL PICK UP

Complimentary local pick up is available for all orders, with fulfillment in 24 - 48 hours for in stock items.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Online Purchases: Modern General® online accepts returns of all non-food and beverage items within 14 days of the delivery date.

Please contact us at sales@sylvesterandco.com to request a return label for your order. Returns sent without our return label cannot be guaranteed.

Please note: items must be in new/original condition with any applicable tags and original packaging intact in order to be accepted for a refund or exchange request. We reserve the right to reject your return should the item not meet these requirements, and it will be returned to you at your expense.

In-Store Purchases: Purchases made in person in our Sag Harbor shop may be exchanged or returned for store credit only. There are no refunds for in store purchases.

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE AND MAY NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
